Hi, my name is Jorge and I'm new to this forum.

I have this acoustic Takamine and I would like to know what model it is, since I didn't found anyone similar on the Internet.
It is from February 1994, you are able to see its serial number in these pictures:

What could be its value nowadays?

Jorge.

Looks like there is a label inside the soundhole (in addition to the serial number label) , does it have a model number on it?

I will post a photo of this tomorrow. It is seller info I think.

I have just noticed a very subtle printing-burning I haven't seen before...

Zoom in this picture:

¿What can you see? Is "EF349 (E)"?
It is harder to see in the guitar itself

Here's what I'm thinking:EF349
http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=1054&sid=352
Because it has a laminate top the value probably would be $300-$400 max.

hi jorge. I have a similar guitar, same body shape and sunburst colour but it has an old
lawsuit type headstock and only 2 knobs instead of the usual graphic style sliders.
I bought mine new in 1991 from a local music store here in northern ireland because i loved
the colour and had never seen a takamine with such a rare configuration.
Mine was made on 10/07/1990 and the model #is eg330e, dont bother checking internet for
any details because ive already tried and no luck
As for value?who knows? Wouldnt part with mine for any price. Every year it just sounds richer
and fuller. I still gig with it ocasionally and other guys cant get over the way it sounds thru the P.A
with just a simple vol and tone control it really does blow newer taks away.
By the way I paid £325sterling in 1991 but guitars do tend to be more expensive in UK than in US.
Hope this helps

hi ronimac.I have exactly the sale guitar that you describe.Serial number dates it to 1990.volume and tone on upper shoulder, superb sound acoustically but when plugged in its amazing.I have looked inside and it has I believe the takamine palathetic pickup, with poles for each individual string.martin style headstock logo, finished in a sort of 3 tone brown.Great guitar in all ways.Thanks.
