I've been looking for a Nylon string Takamine. I would prefer the Pro Series models, I'm
looking for the crossover type like
ETN 30c, ETN 60c, P3FCN and lastly TC135SC
I do not have any experience with these models.
But I do have questions

I realize the different preamps will help boost or cut their tone electrically speaking.
Do they have nice low end? Can you tap the top and get the percussive back beat like
flamenco music?

any input is appreciated.

I only have experience with the TC132SC. The plugged in sound was quite nice and warm bottom end and overtones. And yes you can definitely get top tapping percussive sounds to broadcast nicely.

If it comes with the cooltube preamp, you can always add a transducer pickup. Basically stick, plug and play, and that will increase the percussive effects

Thank you, I bought the EAN-60. It came with the standard CT4BII pre amp. But i bought a Cool Tube 2 that i am going to install over the weekend. I do not have a transducer style pickup. Should I use hat over a mic?

I dont much care for the sound the cooltube makes. You need to add a second pickup and blend them. The CT4BII, in my opinion, has a superior sound amplified. If you tap the EAN60s top, you will hear the percussion.
