I know it's borderline heresy to speak of American Idol, but, Crystal Bowersox played a nice Tak as did Bruno Mars guitarist for his number.

Does any contestant on American Idol actually play the guitar? I thought most of them used the guitars more for looks rather than actually playing them, they may strum a g chord for about 10 seconds of the song, then let it hang around themselves like they are cool. Half of them are probably not even mic'd up.
