Hello, I am new to this forum. I have a very nice sounding EG334BC which also is set up very well and plays fine. I am having trouble getting the low E string's volume to be the same as the rest of the strings when it is plugged in. It's volume is fine acousticaly. I was told to try cleaning the pick-up with Brasso but that did not help. I cleaned the 2 jacks going into the EQ as well as the plugs. I know it would be easy to change the pick-up as it plugs into the EQ but I do not have the money to spend on this if it might not be the problem.

Has anyone ran into this before and found a fix for it? It has the N4B EQ.

I would also like to date this guitar. Is there a site for this. The S# is 50725483.
