Are the Takamine TT Thermal tops all their cracked up to be.
Do you think they will stand the test of time and not fall apart in 5 or more years?

Thermal tops are like pre-faded blue jeans. Yeah they look good right off the rack, but long term they can't hold a candle to jeans that you've worn in and faded by themselves.

My only Takamine experience with TT tops was the Bluegrass 340 SBG-TT. It was "nice" but not nearly as nice as the original SBG non TT version.

I've had a 340 and 360. Both were a little brighter sounding than the non thermal counter parts. I don't own either any more. That answer the question?
