Hello, this is my first post, and I'd like to ask for advice please.
I have had my new New Takamine EG 523SC 6 string 5 weeks and I have just noticed today that now my battery light comes on when I connect my jack lead to the female jack in the guitar body, this is without connecting the other end of the guitar lead to any equipment. I Just plug in the guitar lead jack on it's own and the battery light comes on and stays on, when I remove the guitar lead jack pin the battery light goes out.

I have tried two different guitar leads and two new batteries, but still same problem, even if i plug in a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter jack the battery light comes on?

The guitar tuner and light work normally unplugged and the light goes off after one minute, whats causing this have you any ideas please
