OK, after some unexpected delays (aka "day job") the CD is ready for distribution.

Cost: $8.00, including shipping with the 48 US States. If you live outside the US please email me for a price.

Payment: PayPal or Check (if it bounces your forum membership gets revoked)

To order: EMAIL dave@takamineforum.com

Thanks for all the efforts of those who participated: Beal, Alex, Davis, Bobbo, MusicMishka, Clifford, Bradley, Glen, Mr. Mike, Luke and others. Thanks to Cliff for the fine graphics, as usual. And thanks to those who step up and buy the CD. Not bad for a first effort and hopefully we can do this again in the future.

The cost is just about break-even but if there are any proceeds we'll use those to pay the site server fees.

Last but not least, thank you to TAKAMINE GUITARS for pumping out some outstanding wooden boxes (hence the CD title).

Dave

Excellent.
Cliff did a great job as always.
I'll look forward to hearing my copy, and in time for Christmas too!
Thanks Dave.

Thanks Dave and Cliff for your efforts. Very nice artwork ... EF75?

I know the work of some of the contributing artists and they are very good, and I suspect the ones I don't know are going to be every bit as talented if not more so. I'm looking forward to hearing all of the tunes.

looks like it could be a 75 or 45 but it's been a while since I've seen my 45. Should be a 75 since that's the guitar that started this whole thing anyway.

Yup, that's my 75. I sent Cliff some high res close ups and he took it from there.

You're right Bill, if it wasn't for that guitar I don't think I would have gone in this direction.

Got my copies today.

EXCELLENT JOB BY ALL !!!!!!!!
I'll have more time to go through and listen to it more deeply tomorrow but it sounds great, except for my miserable singing, but ya'll haveto suffer with that. A nice deversity of tunes submitted, should get more next time.
Maybe tomorrow I'll explain what the reference to Matthew means.

Enjoy the CDs.

Dave, job well done.

Damn ... top to bottom, every song is good and the performances are very impressive. Some real talent here for sure. I've got think that if this went into digital distribution, a number of these songs would become viral hits for sure.

Very nicely produced and engineered. Hats off, Dave!

Boy, ain't that the truth!

And my thanks to Dave and Cliff, too.

I should say, before anyone thinks I can play, that on my song that's my friend Dale Inskeep on the lead parts, playing his Collings. I'm playing rhythm with my SBG, tying to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Listened to my copy on the drive to/from JAX today. CONGRATULATIONS to everybody who contributed, really great work by all. Makes me glad I didn't contribute to bring down the quality. Thanks again, and especially to Dave for putting this all together.
